Working with fellow pet parents and being one myself, there's a common belief that nothing will ever replace the loss of our beloved pet—absolute truth, in my humble opinion.
I also believe, when the time is right for some people, a new heart space can open up to the possibility of sharing your warm life and big heart with another precious dog.

The truth is whatever place you're in the grieving process is right where you need to be. There's no judgment in wanting to fill your home and life with a new love or not.
Whatever you feel at this moment is your truth, so honor yourself with peace in your heart; you know what's best for you and your family. You'll know if and when the right time comes to add that special addition to your life.
Give yourself permission to have peace in your heart today and always.
Here's what I want you to remember. Release yourself from having to have all the answers.
Trust God is working on your heart, and you'll know what the next right decision will be. Making a decision not to make a decision right now is also a decision in itself. And that's perfectly ok.
Keep your heart open, and you never know what new adventures and unconditional love God has lined up for you!
